Nore Academy is an SEND school for secondary aged pupils recognised as having a primary need of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
Prospective pupils may also have Autism Spectrum conditions and/ or social and communication difficulties.
As an SEND school all pupils are required to have an EHCP in order to meet our admissions criteria.
NORE Academy will provide 120 places for children of both sexes in the age range of 11-16.
For a child to be admitted, the school must be named, by the local authority, in the child’s education health and care plan (‘EHCP’)
As part of the admissions process, Nore Academy welcomes visits from prospective pupils and their families. We will also endeavour where possible to meet prospective new pupils and their families, whether that is part of a school tour, a home visit or a visit to a pupil's current school.
