    Concept Curriculum

We are committed to ensuring that every student at our school succeeds, both academically and personally. To make this happen, we are integrating a concept-based curriculum that focusses on key life skills such as perseverance, confidence, and teamwork. These skills are not just essential for academic achievement, but also for building resilience, independence, and a positive mindset—qualities that are crucial for long-term success. By embedding these concepts into our lessons, we are empowering students to overcome challenges in both the classroom and life, ensuring they leave us well-prepared for the future.

At regular intervals, teachers will assess each student’s understanding of the concepts being taught and assign a level to reflect their progress. The levels are as follows:

    1. Level 1 – Beginning: The student has little to no understanding of the concept.
    2. Level 2 – Developing: The student is starting to understand the concept but needs more depth.
    3. Level 3 – Proficient: The student has a solid understanding of the concept and can explain it in familiar situations.
    4. Level 4 – Advanced: The student has a strong understanding and can apply the concept in different situations.
    5. Level 5 – Mastery: The student demonstrates a deep understanding and can confidently apply the concept independently in most situations.

This system helps us track and support your child’s progress, ensuring they are always moving forward in their learning and personal development.
